Man, dodgy information or not, that idea of the pokemon trainer shouting orders in the bottom screen sounds awesome, and now I want it to happen soo bad!And well, Squirtle was basically my very first pokemon ever. He's the one I chose back when I played Pokemon for the first time, and I pretty much used it all the way to the end to defeat stupid ol' Gary... And that's pretty much the only time I've ever done that with a starter, since now, being obsessed with stats, I usually find they are not that great in the grand scheme of things. Reply Report

Apology accepted GR. Keep using Bulbapedia for facts and Trivia. As for Squirtle memories...I don't really have any. I've always been a Bulbasaur guy. I do enjoy the Squirtle Squad episode though.Still waiting for GR to spotlight Skarmory, he needs his recognition!BTW, today (2/27) is the day when Pokemon was first released in Japan. So Happy Birthday Pokemon, and congrats to 17 years of greatness! Reply Report

My Squirtle memory is when I finally bought my Blue version and started (choosing Squirtle), my friend literally tackled me from excitement because I'd chosen the same version and starter as him, completely coincidentally. Reply Report

Love how you guys don't need to have any new information, and I STILL enjoy listening to your "news".Squirtle was never my fave of the three, so my fondest memory stems from Smash Bros Brawl as opposed to an actual pokemon game. My friend and I would run Squirtle and Mario as a team, and use their water moves that pushed people backwards to keep the enemy away from the ledge as they recovered. Fun, fun times. Also, I'd make a whole team of Hollander's and become number 1 in the competitive ratings! Can't wait for next episode! Reply Report

I imagine the Henninger as a slow moving but powerful water type that when provoked by a troll type will go into a rage induced frenzy and destroy all other types. Let this be a lesson to future trainers. Reply Report

My first squirtle, named bubbles, was my pride and joy. But sadly Bubbles outlived his usefulness as soon as I beat Brock. So right after Mt. Moon I tossed his butt right into the PC and raised myself and freaking BUTTERFREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"I always found it fascinating that squirtle always evolved at level 14 instead of 16 like Charmander and Bulbasaur usually did". Well guys you did a swell job with this amazing podcast, also when I had my first pet it was a turtle and I named it Squirtle after the pokemon. Reply Report

I also remember the time in pokemon yellow I had my under leveled squirtle go against Giovanni , because he fainted my other pokemon, surprisingly my squirtle K.O.ed his last two pokemon and instantly became a warturtle as its reward. Reply Report

Let's see...Squirtle memories....Don't think I've ever used them except for the ones I raised up just long enough to evolve them to fill out my collection. Reply Report

Henninger: The Stuttering PokemonHollander: The Pokemon that yells like anime Aerodactyl PokemonHenry: The Every Bulky Water Type PokemonI cant wait for Gates to Infinity, i found my old Blue Rescue team and playing the crap out of it till infinity comes out.4chan, the deep dark depths of everything you wish you didnt stick with but just cant stop.I know EXACTLY what your talking about, im a 4channer and i hate every single thing about it, especially the video game board /v/, /vg/ is alright and then you have the /vp/ because Pokemon apparently needed its own board.I like how Bidoof gets Moody in dreamworld, and then gets banned by the Competitive People because "WE HATE EVASION, BANNED"Ah Squirtle, definitley was my starter in Blue the first time ever. Its funny how you had to rely on BUBBLE and BUBBLE BEAM back then XD and then Blastoise, DEM WATER CANONS SON, F*CK YOUR FLYING DRAGON, YOU GOT THAT PLANT MONSTER? BLIZZARD B*TCH!Ah, those were the days. One of my Favorite episodes of all time was the episode where that random wartortle came to let ash and friends save the mystery of the sleeping squirtle,Wartortle, that 1 Blastoise. Reply Report

The Stutter is a super power type. You think he is about to attack but he stutters then you block and then he swoops in for the kill. Reply Report

Don't forget the Talji - the "ultimate" type that destroys everything. Reply ReportShowing 1-13 of 13 comments
